How buying works here

Can I see the work before I buy?
Yes. Viewings are held at 45 Albemarle Street, or we can bring a work to your home or office within London so you can see it in the light it will live in.
What comes with the work?
A condition report, provenance research and a written history covering exhibitions, publications and prior ownership.
How is it framed and delivered?
Frames are made in Clerkenwell from kiln-dried tulipwood. Works travel in bespoke crates, with installation arranged in London.
What if I am not in London?
We place works internationally and can arrange shipping, export licences and installation wherever the work is going.
What do contemporary works cost at Causon Daniels?
Most available paintings and works on paper sit between £4,000 and £60,000, with prices published in pounds rather than held on application.
Do you help first-time buyers?
Often. Tell us the room, the budget and the work you already respond to, and we will suggest two or three pieces worth seeing rather than a long list.
