Artist
Will McNally
Self-taught contemporary artist
Will McNally is a self-taught British artist of Irish and Cypriot heritage whose neon-soaked, high-contrast portraits have drawn comparisons to Banksy and Andy Warhol while remaining unmistakably his own. He reworks cultural icons — musicians, fighters, screen characters and royalty — in saturated colour, spray and mixed media.
Since emerging in 2020 he has built a fast international profile, with commissions and collaborations including artwork for Warner Brothers' Mortal Kombat film and a female empowerment project with Playboy, alongside pieces created for influential figures worldwide, among them a portrait presented to Conor McGregor and a Shane MacGowan portrait hung in the late Pogues singer's favourite Tipperary pub.
His work has been shown nationally and internationally, including exhibitions in New York, and covered by The Independent, The Irish Post, Flavour Magazine and Seen in the City. Collector demand has followed: values on his work have appreciated significantly since his debut, making him one of the more closely watched emerging names of his generation.
